MBSE HSLC Result 2025 has officially been declared, marking a moment of pride for thousands of Mizoram’s Class 10 students. This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 76.68%, showing a significant improvement from last year’s 73.37%. The exams, conducted during February and March, saw participation from 18,946 students, out of which 14,527 successfully cleared the examination.
A Stronger Performance Across the Board
According to MBSE Secretary Sarah Lalengzami Pachuau, 107 schools across Mizoram achieved a perfect 100% pass rate, reflecting consistent academic efforts across institutions. However, 13 schools recorded zero pass rates, indicating a need for better intervention and support mechanisms in certain areas.
PC Lalthakimi Emerges as State Topper
The top scorer this year is PC Lalthakimi from KD High School, Aizawl, who secured an outstanding 479 out of 500 marks, earning distinctions in all six subjects. Her performance has not only brought pride to her school but also set a remarkable benchmark for academic excellence.
Tied for the second rank were Isak MS Dawnglima (Government Mizo High School) and Malsawmkima Chawngthu (CLS Academy), both achieving distinctions in five subjects. The third rank went to Ricky Lalnunfela from St. Joseph Higher Secondary School.
Special subject achievements include:
- Lalrohlupuii, who scored 100 in Mathematics
- C Lalvenzuala, who secured 100 in Science
More Girls Than Boys Pass
Continuing a national trend, female students outnumbered male students in the list of successful candidates. Of those who passed:
- 1,343 earned distinction
- 3,763 scored first division
- Others passed with second or third division marks, indicating a broad level of performance across different levels.
