ICSE results 2025 have been officially declared by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) today, April 30, at 11:00 AM IST. Students who appeared for the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) examinations can now access their results via the official websites — cisce.org and results.cisce.org — as well as through the DigiLocker platform. This marks a significant academic milestone for over two lakh students who participated in the exams this year.
Accessing the Results
In order to see their results, students must enter their Unique ID, Index Number, and Date of Birth on CISCE official portals. Mark sheets can also be downloaded in digital form via DigiLocker from results.digilocker.gov.in. Institution-wise results can be accessed by schools through the CISCE CAREERS portal with principal credentials.
Exam Timeline
The ICSE Class 10 exams were from February 21 to March 28, while the ISC Class 12 examinations were from February 12 to April 3. The results being released this year on schedule are remarkable as, in 2024, the board announced the results on May 13.
Rechecking and Re-evaluation
Candidates who are not happy with their grades can opt for rechecking of answer scripts between April 30 and May 4 on the CISCE Services portal. In case of discrepancies even after rechecking, candidates can opt for re-evaluation. The re-evaluation period will be open for three days after the announcement of recheck results.
Improvement Examinations
CISCE has announced improvement exams for students seeking to improve their performance. The candidates can appear for improvement exams in a maximum of two subjects in July 2025. The formal schedule for these exams will be published on cisce.org within the next few weeks.
Passing Criteria
To clear the ICSE Class 10 exam, students need to get at least 33% in each subject and overall. For the ISC Class 12 exam, 40% is the pass mark. Students failing to achieve the eligibility criteria may appear for improvement exams or have to repeat the academic year as per board policy.
Official Advisory
The council has again emphasized that students should not be victims of spurious result links or third-party applications. Official websites and government portals like DigiLocker alone should be accessed to check scores. In the event of technical glitches, students are recommended to wait and try again after a while since traffic spikes might temporarily hinder access.

- Go to the official website—cisce.org or results.cisce.org.
- Click on the ‘ICSE Result 2025’ or ‘ISC Result 2025’ link.
- Fill in your Unique ID, Index Number, and Date of Birth.
- Enter the Captcha code and click ‘Submit’.
- Your marksheet will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and print for future use.
Candidates are requested to have their admit cards with them and check personal information while downloading results. The electronic mark sheet will be considered as a provisional certificate until the original documents are given by the concerned schools.
With the today’s announcement, CISCE emerges as one of the earliest national boards to publish its Class 10 and Class 12 scores in 2025. This will be timing to suit those applying for admissions in undergraduate studies in India as well as foreign countries, where many institutions frame their cut-offs in line with central board deadlines.
