TS SSC Results 2025: 92.78% Pass, Girls Lead, Mahabubabad Tops

TS SSC Results 2025 have been officially announced by the Telangana Board of Secondary Education (BSE), bringing good news for thousands of Class 10 students across the state. With an impressive 92.78% overall pass percentage, this year’s results reflect a strong academic performance, with girls outperforming boys and Mahabubabad district emerging as the top scorer.

Over 5 Lakh Students Appeared

A total of 5,07,107 students appeared for the SSC Public Examinations conducted in March 2025. This included 4,96,374 regular candidates and 10,733 private candidates. Out of these, 4,53,201 regular students passed, bringing the regular category pass percentage to 90%.

Girls Perform Better Than Boys

The gender-wise pass percentage reveals that girls have once again outshone boys. While 91.32% of boys cleared the exam, 94.26% of girls succeeded, marking a 2.94% higher success rate among female students. Among private candidates, the trend continues—girls secured a 61.70% pass rate, significantly higher than boys’ 55.14%.

District-Wise Highlights

Mahabubabad district stole the spotlight with the highest pass percentage of 99.29%, setting a benchmark for other districts. In contrast, Vikarabad recorded the lowest pass percentage at 73.97%. Telangana State Residential Schools stood out among school categories with a pass rate of 98.79%. In total, 4,629 schools reported 100% results, while only 2 schools recorded zero passes.

Clean and Smooth Conduct of Exams

The TS SSC exams were held between March 21 and April 4, 2025. For most subjects, the exams were conducted smoothly, with minimal incidents of malpractice or negligence. In the Second Language paper, no irregularities were reported. However, during the English paper, one malpractice case resulted in disciplinary action against two invigilators. Similarly, in Mathematics and Science, a few invigilators were relieved of duty for negligence, but overall, the exam process was well-managed.

Passing Criteria and Options for Failed Candidates

To pass a subject, students need a minimum of 35 marks out of 100, except for Second Language, which requires 20 marks. In the Summative Assessment, students must score at least 28 out of 80 in each subject (16 for Second Language). Internal marks are included in the final total but do not require a separate qualifying score.

Those who fail to meet the required criteria can appear for supplementary exams, which will be announced by the board soon. Additionally, students have the option to apply for re-evaluation of their answer scripts if they believe there has been an error in marking.

Result Access and Certificate Collection

Students can access their results via the official websites:

They will need their roll number and application number to log in. Original mark sheets and pass certificates will be available at respective schools. These documents will include subject-wise internal and external marks, total score, grades, and co-curricular activity results, as mandated by government order G.O. Ms. No. 27.

With a sharp increase in pass rates, especially among girls and rural districts like Mahabubabad, the TS SSC Results 2025 highlight the evolving academic landscape of Telangana’s schools. The strong performance reflects both student dedication and administrative efficiency, offering a positive outlook for the state’s future in education.
