NEET PG 2025 Candidates Alerted by NBEMS Against Fake Notices and Social Media Scams

NBEMS Warns NEET PG 2025 Aspirants Against Fake Notices, Emails, and Social Media Scams

As NEET PG 2025 approaches, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, NBEMS has issued a strong advisory to candidates warning them about an alarming rise in spoofed notices, fraudulent emails, SMS, and misleading social media content circulating in its name.

In light of increasing attempts by unscrupulous agents and touts to deceive students with fake communications, NBEMS is urging all aspirants to verify all exam-related information only through its official platforms.

Where to Find Verified NBEMS Information

NBEMS has reiterated that the only two official websites for information regarding its examinations are:

Additionally, NBEMS has a verified WhatsApp Channel for official updates. Students can follow it at:
👉 whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbAseBd7T8bTcZS9mg20

NBEMS has clearly stated that there are no other official social media handles or communication channels apart from the ones mentioned above.

Check the QR Code for Authenticity

Since July 2020, all official notices issued by NBEMS come with a unique QR code. This QR code, when scanned, will directly take the user to the corresponding notice hosted on the NBEMS website. This is a critical verification step for candidates to ensure they are not reading or acting on fake information.

What to Watch Out For

NBEMS has raised concerns that certain individuals or groups are circulating fake notices, messages, and emails impersonating the board. These scams often promise guaranteed results, leaked question papers, or special assistance in exchange for money or personal information.

These messages may come in the form of:

  • Forged emails mimicking official templates
  • Fraudulent SMS with fake links or contact numbers
  • Social media posts or groups using NBEMS logos and branding
  • Spoofed documents claiming to be from NBEMS officials

The intent of these scams is typically phishing, fraud, or data theft. NBEMS has made it absolutely clear that it does not send any messages or emails to candidates promising high scores or offering question papers.

What Candidates Should Do

If you are a NEET PG 2025 aspirant, here’s how you can protect yourself:

✅ Do not trust or act on any unofficial messages (email, SMS, social media) claiming to be from NBEMS.
✅ Always verify the authenticity of the notice or communication by checking the QR code or cross-referencing it on natboard.edu.in.
✅ Never share your personal or financial information with any unverified source, especially those promising exam-related favors.

Reporting Fraud

If you’re a NEET PG 2025 aspirant and receive any questionable message, email, phone call, or social media content that claims to be from NBEMS — especially those that promise exam papers, good scores, or special assistance — it is critical that you report it immediately. Taking quick action not only protects you but also helps authorities track and stop these fraudsters.

Here’s how you can report suspected fraud effectively:

  • Email the details to: 📧 reportumc@natboard.edu.in
  • File a report with your local police station to initiate a proper investigation..

NBEMS also encourages students to be alert and spread the word among their peers so no candidate falls victim to such scams because remember, NBEMS will never contact candidates individually offering scores, question papers, or shortcuts to success. Any such claims are false, dangerous, and illegal.

As the NEET PG 2025 exam season approaches, students are advised to stay vigilant and rely only on official NBEMS channels for updates. With phishing attempts becoming more sophisticated, it is crucial for every aspirant to double-check sources and report anything suspicious.

Don’t let false promises or forged communications derail your hard work — stay informed, stay cautious, and stay connected only to official NBEMS platforms.
