NIT Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy)

SRM Institute of Science and Technology
SRM has modernised its CSE course under the Department of Computing Technologies. The institute saw over 700 “dream offers” and eight internship selections in its latest placement cycle.
The highest package offered was Rs 65 LPA in 2025, and the average CSE package stood at Rs 7.19 LPA in 2024. Major recruiters include Microsoft, Google, Dell, Amazon, and Indian IT giants like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL, and Accenture.
Anna University
Based in Chennai, Anna University’s CSE department remains a top destination for engineering aspirants. In 2022–2023, 171 students were placed, and in the prior year, 166 students received job offers.
Notable recruiters include Accenture, Adobe, Cognizant, Infosys, Morgan Stanley, Hitachi Energy, among others. The highest package reached Rs 36.5 LPA (D.E. Shaw India), followed by Rs 29.5 LPA from Morgan Stanley and Rs 28.5 LPA from VISA Inc.
