344 Kendriya Vidyalayas Lack Full-Time Principals
A significant number of Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) across India are currently functioning without full-time principals, according to data presented by the Ministry of Education in Parliament. Out of 1,356 functional Kendriya Vidyalayas, only 1,012 have regular or Grade-II principals, leaving 344 schools under the charge of acting heads or senior staff.
