SBI Opens Applications for Junior Associate Recruitment

The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026 notification, inviting applications for 1,538 Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) posts under a special recruitment drive. The online application process began on August 7 and will remain open until August 27, 2026.

The recruitment drive aims to fill backlog vacancies across various states and Union Territories. Interested candidates must submit their applications through the official SBI Careers portal within the prescribed deadline.

Eligibility and Selection Process

Applicants must hold a graduate degree from a recognised university and meet the prescribed age criteria mentioned in the official notification. Age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates as per government norms.

The selection process consists of a Preliminary Examination, followed by the Main Examination and a Local Language Proficiency Test for candidates who qualify. The preliminary exam is expected to be conducted in September 2026, while the mains examination is tentatively scheduled for October or November 2026.
