At just 18 years old, Bhavya Jha from Ahmedabad has achieved a remarkable milestone—scoring a near-perfect 99.9996379 percentile in NEET UG 2025. No Drop Year, No Open School—Only Smart Balance
Unlike many students who take a drop year or switch to open schooling for full-time preparation, Bhavya stayed a regular day scholar. He managed both school and coaching, a rare balance that required precision and discipline.
Volleyball and School: His Secret to Staying Fresh
Studying hard didn’t mean Bhavya gave up on student life. He found joy and mental clarity through volleyball, his favorite sport, and continued engaging with his classmates and school activities.

A Brother’s Support That Made All the Difference
Bhavya credits much of his success to his elder brother, Sarvagya Jha, an intern at GMERS Medical College, Sola, Ahmedabad. Sarvagya not only shared his notes but also guided Bhavya through the highs and lows of preparation.
“My brother is my biggest inspiration. Even when my mock test scores dipped, he motivated me to keep going. His experience prepared me for challenges I couldn’t have seen coming.”
Top Choices: AIIMS Delhi First, JIPMER Second
While AIIMS Delhi remains Bhavya’s top priority, he also holds high regard for JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research).
“JIPMER is my second option. What excites me about both AIIMS and JIPMER is the hands-on exposure. Practical learning is the foundation of being a good doctor.”
Cutting Out Distractions: No Social Media, No Regrets
In an age dominated by Instagram and endless scrolling, Bhavya took the unusual step of staying completely off social media. This helped him avoid distractions and stay fully immersed in his goals.
“I don’t even have a social media account. I didn’t want distractions. This was my time to stay focused and give it everything I had.”
