Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
The CUET UG 2025 exam was conducted in computer-based test mode. The paper had three sections — Section I included 13 language options, Section II covered 23 domain-specific subjects, and Section III was a general aptitude test. The exam featured multiple choice questions. For every correct answer, candidates received five marks, while one mark was deducted for every incorrect answer, following a balanced marking system that rewarded precision.
Eligibility and Admission Process
Students who passed Class 12 with at least 50 percent marks were eligible to appear for CUET UG 2025. There is no upper age limit for the exam, though individual universities may have their own criteria that students must check before applying.
Unlike some other national exams, CUET UG does not have a central counselling process. The NTA will not release subject-wise cut-offs. Instead, each participating university will set its own admission cut-off scores based on CUET results. This means students must apply separately to universities they are interested in, following their specific admission procedures.
What’s Next?
With the CUET UG 2025 result declared, students should now focus on researching their preferred universities, checking individual eligibility rules, and preparing to apply. Since cut-offs will vary across institutions, it is important to stay updated on official announcements from the universities where you wish to seek admission.
