The NEET UG 2025 answer key is out! To help candidates, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has sent scanned copies of the OMR sheets directly to the email addresses you provided during registration.
For those who took the exam, the NTA has released the provisional answer key, along with scanned images of the OMR answer sheets and recorded responses for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) (NEET UG) 2025.
You can now check and challenge the provisional answer key and your recorded responses on the official website – neet.nta.nic.in.
Key Dates and Fees
- Challenge Window: June 3 to June 5, 2025
- Fee per Challenge: Rs 200 (non-refundable) for each question you challenge (whether it’s the Answer Key or Recorded Response)
- Last Date to Pay Fee: June 5, 2025 (until 11:50 PM)
- Payment Methods: Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking
Remember, no challenges will be accepted without the processing fee receipt, and any challenges sent through other means won’t be considered.

Important Notes:
- A panel of subject experts will review all challenges.
- If a challenge is deemed valid, the answer key will be updated accordingly.
- The final results will be based on this revised answer key.
- Unfortunately, individual candidates won’t be notified about the acceptance or rejection of their challenges.
- The NTA’s decision is final, and there won’t be any further communication after the deadline.

How to Challenge the NEET UG 2025 Answer Key
- Go to the official website, neet.nta.nic.in
- Click on “Display OMR Answer Sheet / Challenge Recorded Response and Answer Key.”
- Log in with your Application Number and Password.
- Enter the captcha code and hit submit.
- If you look under the “Correct Option” column, you’ll find the answer that NTA has deemed correct.
- To contest a question, just pick your preferred answer from the four options provided.
- You can upload any supporting documents in a single PDF file by clicking on “Choose File.”
- Then, scroll down and hit “Save your Claim.”
- Make sure to review all the questions you’ve challenged along with your selected options.
- When you’re ready, click “Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally.”
- Choose your payment method and pay Rs 200 for each question.
- Once your payment goes through, don’t forget to download or print the receipt for your records.
How to Challenge Your OMR Answer Sheet or Recorded Response
Start by visiting the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.
Click on “Display OMR Answer Sheet / Challenge Recorded Response and Answer Key.”
Log in using your Application Number and Password.
On the left panel, select “OMR Challenge.” Click on the “OMR Challenge Link” to see your OMR sheet.
Scroll down and click on “Challenge Recorded Response.”
Pick the questions you want to contest. In the “Captured Response as per OMR Sheet” column, you’ll see the answers you marked.
In the “Candidate’s Claim” column, choose what you believe is the correct response.
After that, scroll down and click “Submit.”
Take a moment to review your challenged responses.
Finally, click “Submit and Pay Fee Finally.”
Select your payment method and pay Rs 200 for each question.
After you’ve made the payment, remember to download or print the receipt.
