Indraprastha University (IPU) introduces a 3-year LLB and an international MSc dual degree in partnership with AGH Poland for 2025-26, expanding global academic access.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, is making significant strides in higher education with the launch of two new academic programmes for the upcoming 2025–26 academic year — a 3-year Bachelor of Laws (LLB) course and an innovative international dual degree Master’s programme in partnership with AGH University of Krakow, Poland.
These two offerings are part of GGSIPU’s broader efforts to align with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, aiming to enhance student access to professional education, promote interdisciplinary learning, and foster international collaborations that prepare students for the global workforce.
New 3-Year LLB Programme at Main and Affiliated Colleges
For students aspiring to enter the legal field, IP University’s new 3-year LLB programme presents a fresh opportunity. Set to begin in the 2025–26 academic session, the programme will be available at three institutions under the university umbrella:
- University School of Law & Legal Studies, Dwarka Campus
- Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS)
- Chandraprabhu Jain College of Higher Studies
Each of the three institutes will offer 60 seats, totaling 180 seats in its inaugural year. The programme has been assigned the code 238, and admissions will be conducted through the university’s Common Entrance Test (CET).
The course is designed to provide foundational legal knowledge and critical thinking skills, suitable for graduates from diverse academic backgrounds who wish to pursue a legal career or transition into law from other disciplines.
Application, Test Structure, and Eligibility
To be eligible, candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. The CET will evaluate applicants across four key areas:
- Language comprehension
- General knowledge and current affairs
- Legal reasoning and aptitude
- Analytical ability
The online application process begins on July 18, 2025, and candidates must apply through either of the university’s official portals: www.ipu.ac.in or www.ipu.admissions.nic.in. The application fee is ₹2,500, payable online.
Global Exposure: MSc Dual Degree Programme with AGH University, Poland
In a major push toward global education, GGSIPU has also opened admissions to its newly launched MSc dual degree programme in “Digital Production for Sustainable Manufacturing.” This unique course is being introduced in collaboration with AGH University of Krakow, a well-respected technical university in Poland. Both institutions feature in the QS World University Rankings 2026, highlighting their academic standing.
The programme was officially launched in December 2024 by the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, marking a milestone in Indo-European academic partnerships. The course is designed to merge classroom learning with real-world industrial experience, focusing on sustainability, automation, and digital transformation in manufacturing — key themes for the future of global industries.
Programme Details: Structure, Fees, and Seats
The MSc programme spans four semesters:
- Semester 1 & 2: Held at AGH University in Krakow, Poland
- Semester 3 & 4: Conducted at GGSIPU, New Delhi
- Final Semester: Emphasis on internship and industry immersion, allowing students to gain hands-on experience
The tuition fee is set at ₹2,09,500 per annum, on par with IPU’s MBA fees, offering affordability along with international exposure. The programme will admit between 15 and 48 students in its first batch.
Eligibility and Selection Criteria
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks, and must have studied subjects like Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Operational Research. The selection process will include:
- Graduation marks (70% weightage)
- Personal interview (30% weightage)
