Following the devastating terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22 that left 26 people dead at Baisaran Meadow and numerous others injured, Lucknow University has made a humanitarian gesture.
The university declared that it will provide complete educational support to the families of those who perished in what is regarded as one of the worst attacks in Jammu and Kashmir since the Pulwama bombing in 2019.
The university is prepared to assist the victims’ dependents by paying for all of their educational costs, according to Vice Chancellor Alok Rai.

Eshanaay, the wife of one of the victims, Shubham Dwivedi, recalled the horrifying incident in which a shooter approached them and inquired about their religion before shooting her husband.
Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, responded to the attack by reiterating the state’s strict “zero-tolerance” policy and stressing its unwavering stance against terrorism.
