Roopa Chanagouda Patil, who hails from Devalapura village in Bailhongal taluk, which is located in the Belagavi district, is one of these 22. Rupa, a student at Devalapur’s Government High School, attributed her achievement to the support of her parents and the direction of her teachers. Approximately 5.2 lakh students out of the 8.4 lakh who took the test passed. Of them who passed the test, 75% received more than 60% of the possible points, earning them first class.
In terms of pass rate, girls performed better than boys. Boys achieved a pass percentage of 58%, while girls achieved a pass percentage of 74%. Comparing urban students to their rural counterparts, the former did marginally better (67 percent pass rate). In addition to the 22 students who received full marks, 327 students received 620, 108 students received 623, and 65 students received 624. A total of 108 unaided schools, 30 aided schools, and six government schools received zero percent of the results, meaning that none of their students were able to pass. With a 91% pass rate, Dakshina Kannada was the district leader. With an 89% pass rate, Udupi came in second. Bengaluru Rural achieved a pass percentage of 74%, while Bengaluru North and South achieved 72%. In Kalyan Karnataka districts such as Bidar, Raichur, Yadgir, and Kalaburgi, the pass rate was approximately 50%.
In order to improve the results, the chief minister instructed us to place more emphasis on classroom-based learning activities, the school education minister added. As a result, we implemented academic interventions like remedial courses and other educational initiatives.
We identified students who needed to improve and made sure that targeted approaches were used with the assistance of the CEOs of the Zilla Panchayats throughout the state. In order to give students enough time to prepare for the board exam, we also made sure that 80% of the syllabus was finished by the first week of January.
He added that, in accordance with current standards, about 13,000 students who came close to earning pass grades were given grace marks.
In order to improve their performance, Bangarappa also urged students to take the SSLC Exams 2 and 3. For regular students who failed SSLC Exam-1, KSEAB has also waived the exam fee for SSLC Exam-2. However, there will be an exam fee for candidates who wish to retake the tests in order to improve their scores.
