A remarkable 2,54,016 female applicants took the exam this year, which is 47,539 more than their male counterparts. This indicates that young women are becoming more involved in their education.

Srijita Ghosal of the Bankura district stood out among these bright lights with a score of 494, placing her first among the state’s female candidates and fourth overall in the Top 10 merit list. Srijita, a Sonamukhi Girls’ High School student, has made her hometown extremely proud of her accomplishment.

The modest topper revealed in an exclusive interview with The Telegraph online Edugraph, “I did not expect such a good result or that I would top among the girls.” My pals were the ones who initially told me about my findings! fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fgf fg

Srijita, a student in the scientific stream (PCMB), managed to maintain a disciplined lifestyle while yet giving herself time for artistic endeavors like drawing and painting. “I gave physics more time because it’s a challenging subject to score in. Regular practice helped me keep confident in mathematics, but going over concepts several times helped me stay confident in biology and chemistry, she disclosed.

There have been difficulties in life. When Srijita was just six years old, her mother passed away. Her father, who was the headmaster of Kochdihi Kabi Sukanta Vidyapith High School, and her other family members continued to be her rock. As he watched his daughter’s goals come to life today, her father’s pride was evident. fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fg fgf fg gf fg fg fg fg

It’s interesting to note that, despite her lifelong interest in academia, Srijita’s career goals changed over time. She used to dream of becoming a professor, but now she hopes to work in engineering, perhaps in information technology, computer science, or data science. She grinned and said, “I want to investigate these fields and see which one I fall in love with.”

She freely acknowledged, when asked about her study habits, “I did not follow any schedule.” I studied until I was content. I would read the idea multiple times until it made sense if I was stuck.

Despite her intense study schedule, Srijita made time for her friends, whose encouragement and companionship lifted her spirits.
