This practical angle gave me the confidence that I wouldn’t just be memorizing concepts—I’d be applying them in real situations. It raised expectations and gave me an edge. Today, I work in finance at MSD, a pharmaceutical company in the UK. Interestingly, my placement year was in operations, but the finance modules I studied had a huge impact. They not only helped me secure exemptions in the ACA (Chartered Accountant) exams but also accelerated my career progression.

One of the most fulfilling parts of my journey was the relationships I built.
